HURON — Dean L. Remington, age 68, of Huron, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at his home after a battle with cancer.
A private family burial will be held in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Dean Remington was born April 9, 1950, at Huron to Herbert and Joann (Conway) Remington. He was united in marriage to Pat Nickelson June 2, 1974.
He worked at D.M. & E. Railroad until his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed doing anything his grandchildren wanted to do, and watching NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Remington of Huron; his mother, Joann Remington of Portland, Ore.; his children, Angela and Zach Tralmer of Denver, Colo., Eric and Angie Remington of Huron and Ryan Remington of Huron; his grandchildren, Riley and Emry Tralmer, Tristen, Chase, Ethan and Brayden Remington, and Connor and Brianna Remington; his great-grandson, Cooper Remington; his brothers, Scott, Randy, and James Remington; his sister, Gayle Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Kuhler Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements.
