Hegg Brothers Holiday Jam set for Dec. 1

Posted

HURON — The Huron Student United Way  — formerly known as Huron Youth Leadership Council — in partnership with the Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau and many sponsors are pleased to announce the return of the popular holiday concert “Holiday Jam with the Hegg Brothers.”
This year’s free concert will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1, at the Huron High School Auditorium.
This will be the band’s 11th year on tour and is a fundraiser for the Student United Way. This year’s event will be a free community concert, made possible by generous donations from area sponsors.

Holiday Jam is a long-running holiday tradition that continues to highlight new musical twists. The musical showcase features the talents of a multi-piece band led by Jon and Jeremy Hegg. The 11 person ensemble uses multiple instruments and voices to create their own unique versions of the classical Christmas tunes.
The Student United Way is an organization of high school students who are dedicated to community leadership, volunteerism, and philanthropy. The students annually award grants to organizations that provide worthwhile programs that enhance and enrich the lives of youth in this region. The funds raised from the Holiday Jam will be used to provide grant dollars to area organizations.
Some of the past recipients have been Royal Family Kids Camp, Backpack Program, Believefest, Huron Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, Pheasants Forever Pollinator project and many more.
So grab your favorite holiday sweater and be prepared for one of the best holiday performances in the Midwest.
