To the Editor:

I met Billie Sutton at the State Fair. He impressed me as a good and decent man, who will be a great Governor.
Billie is a rodeo man, a cowboy and he loves horses. I am a horse person as well and I can sense that some who is good with horses will also be good for South Dakota. I don’t have that feeling about Kristi Noem. She’s just in it for herself.

Billie’s rodeo accident has left him with a disability, but sometimes a disability in one area enhances other abilities - like leadership. An example that I remember is President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who led the country through the Great Depression and on to victory in the second World War.
I will vote for Billie Sutton, with full confidence in his ability to lead our state. He will bring a breath of fesh air to the State Capitol that has been too long dominated by one party.
