YALE — Mary Jane Fast, 60, of Yale, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Huron with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation, with family present, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Welter Funeral Home; or one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
Mary Jane was born on January 8, 1959, to Gerald and Grace (Wessels) Sheridan in Huron. Mary Jane attended school in Huron and graduated from Huron High School in 1977. She married William (Bill) Fast on May 14, 1987 in Huron.
She is survived by her husband, Bill of Yale; children, Billie Jo (Kyle) Fast of Mitchell, Brady (Valerie) Fast of Watertown, Branden (Mikaela) Fast of Goodwin; four grandchildren; siblings, Gerry (Peggy) Sheridan of Sioux Falls, Gary (Vicki) Sheridan of Italy, Texas, Darrell (Cindy) Sheridan of Huron, and Carole Miller of Woonsocket; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
