At the City Commission meeting on Monday night Mayor Paul Aylward proclaimed the Week of September 9th-15th, 2018 as Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week. DSP Week gives the Center for Independence the opportunity to show appreciation for the valuable professionalism, caring attitude and dedication its direct support staff displays in their jobs. Representing the Huron Area Center for Independence are Mayor Aylward, DSP Karen Koel, DJ Titus, DSP Lana Moeller, Maren Schoenhard and Project Manager Dawn Eden.
