ZELL — Rose Mary Nuhsbaumer, 88, of Zell, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019, at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Mary’s Chapel in Zell, with Reverend Tom Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield.
Rose Mary Bush was born April 23, 1931, to Royce and Olga (Monnington) Bush in rural Hand County.
She married Joseph Nuhsbaumer on Sept. 3, 1951, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Zell.
She is survived by her husband; children, Sandy (Daryl) Schmidt, Jo Ann Robinson, Bob (Cindy) Nuhsbaumer, Steve (Amy) Nuhsbaumer, Brenda (Jim) Kranz, Sheila (Kevin) Bruscher, and Jeanette (Tim) Weisz; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister, June Ehrich; a step-brother; three sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, O.G. Palmer; an infant brother; eight siblings; nine step-siblings; a son-in-law; and three infant grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials directed to a charity of their choice.
