SIOUX FALLS — Thelma Gose, 96, of Sioux Falls and formerly of Wolsey, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Society-Sioux Falls Village.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Wolsey. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church.
Thelma Mae Power was born on June 18, 1923, to parents William E. and Edna M. (Strubhar) Power in Huron, where she attended high school. Thelma joined the Women’s Army Air Corp and was stationed in Texas, Arizona and Southern California.
Thelma married Herbert Gose in Wolsey on March 3, 1953.
She is survived by her children, James Gose of Huron, Debra Kloer of Skammon, Kan., and Melinda (Vincent Nesheim) Gose of Sioux Falls; two grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Presuhn of Huron.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert in 1989; two infant daughters, Barbara Ann and Linda Mae; two brothers, William Power and Calvin Power; and sister, Lu Morrow.
