Digital spring cleaning for businesses

Posted

HURON — On Thursday, April 25, from 11:30 a..m. to 1 p.m. the Chamber is hosting a hands-on digital spring-cleaning session where you will learn how to quickly and effectively clean-up and enhance your online presence for optimal growth.

With rapidly evolving technology, evaluating your business’s online presence can be one of the most profitable tasks you cross off your list.

Your business is likely listed in several online directories whether you added it or not.

This could render your information inaccurate or worse, inappropriate. Regular updates to your online directories with major platforms such as Google, Bing, Facebook and many more are essentially vital.  The good news is, there are quick and simple ways to manage this and these sites are also brimming with free opportunities to maximize your ability to reach more customers.

This session is presented by Erica Woodbury with Digital.leigh, LLC.  Woodbury has a passion for marketing and small business. Having gained knowledge and experience supporting the small business community through her previous work with Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau, she has continued to hone her skills by providing marketing content for a variety of small businesses.

Cost for this session is $30 and includes a light lunch. Register by calling the chamber at 352-0000, email cvb@huronsd.com.
