HURON — Senior Hamtyn Heinz and sophomore Blake Ellwein represented Huron on the All-Eastern South Dakota Conference basketball teams, which were announced Sunday.

Also named to girls’ All-ESD squad were sophomore Taryn Hermansen of Aberdeen Central, sophomore Alyvia Padgett of Brandon Valley, senior Abby Flanagan of Harrisburg, sophomore Sadie Mehrman of Harrisburg, sophomore Addie Siemsen of Mitchell, senior Sawyer Stoebner of Mitchell, junior Lennix Dupris of Pierre, junior Reese Terwilliger of Pierre and junior Emery Thury of Watertown.

Earning honorable mention were sophomore Ava Kellenberger of Brandon Valley, sophomore Macy Even of Brookings and senior Claire Tereshinski of Yankton.

Also selected to the All-ESD boys’ team were senior Grant Fritz of Aberdeen Central, senior Josh Olthoff of Brandon Valley, senior Jacoby Mehrman of Harrisburg, senior Braeden VanBockern of Harrisburg, sophomore Colton Smith of Mitchell, senior Gavin Soukup of Mitchell, junior Markus Talley of Mitchell, senior Dylon Rawdon of Watertown and senior Landon Potts of Yankton.
