HURON — Huron Activities Director Terry Rotert has been named a finalist AD of the Year by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association.
Other South Dakota coaches receiving national recognition from the NHSACA are Dan Mitchell of Yankton (boys’ assistant Coach of the Year); Kim Nelson of Sioux Falls Roosevelt (football Coach of the Year); Bob Garry of Sioux Falls Christian (girls’ assistant Coach of the Year); Brett Sime of Yankton (golf Coach of the Year); and Spencer Novotny of Winner (wrestling Coach of the Year).
Each finalist will be recognized furing the Coach of the Year Banquet at the NHSAC Summer Convention, which is slated for June 26 in Bismarck, N.D.
