Seventh-graders sweep Brookings
BROOKINGS Hurons seventh-grade girls basketball teams swept Brookings in a pair of games on Thursday.
The Tigers claimed a 29-25 victory in the A-game.
Jayla Schley led Huron with 15 points, while Ramsey Rozell had eight points.
The Tigers inked a 21-12 win in the B-game.
Madyson Metzger and Autumn Siedschlag had nine and eight points, respectively, for Huron.
The Huron seventh-graders will host Yankton on Monday.
Eighth-grade
BROOKINGS Brookings recorded a sweep against the Huron eighth-grade girls basketball team on Thursday.
The Bobcats recoreded a 30-8 win in the A-game.
Maggie Storm and Reagan Bischoff had four and three points, respectively, for the Tigers.
Brookings won the B-game 41-15.
Kinsley Armstrong, Kayleigh Nicola and Rose Paw Tun each had four points for Huron. Charleigh Brewer added three points.
