The weather was beautiful for horse drawn wagon rides last Sunday afternoon during the annual Christmas celebration in Iroquois.
Tim Sullivan, owner of the Ingalls Homestead, brought one of his teams of horses to Iroquois to give rides about town. Young and old enjoyed the open-air rides and then warmed up with a cup of hot cocoa.

The children were busy making Christmas tree ornaments and other crafts when Santa arrived. The youngsters took turns telling old St. Nick their Christmas wishes.
Community members brought a wide variety of delicious soups and desserts and the tables were full as people enjoyed the food and fellowship. Over 100 people attended the event.
