LUBBOCK, Texas Linda Lundeen Sorensen, 78, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, at her home in Lubbock, Texas.
She was born in Huron on Nov. 5, 1945, to Kenneth D. Lundeen and Phyllis (Hageman) Lundeen.
Linda Lundeen attended Huron High School, Class of 1963. Linda married David Sorensen on March 15, 1974, in Las Vegas. Linda and David moved to Odessa, Texas in 1980, and opened Permian Micro Mart in 1985. She took pride in going to work daily until retirement in 2009.
In her free time, Linda loved shopping, especially for Christmas gifts. She was the best storyteller and loved to tell anyone who would listen.
Linda was strong-willed, self opinionated with a generous heart. She helped many people throughout her lifetime expecting nothing in return.

She is survived by her two sons, John Sorensen of Lubbock, Texas and Paul Sorensen of Westlake, Texas; four grandchildren, Lexi, Ethan, Avery and Ashlee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Sorensen; brother, Lanny Lundeen; and sister, LeAnn Nubby Wood.
Services will be held at a later date.
