IROQUOIS J. W. Jesser of Iroquois recently published his first historical novel, The Passable Cook.
Set in De Smet, The Passable Cook transports readers to the years following WWII, where they will meet a cast of vibrant characters navigating lifes trials and triumphs. At the center of it all is a young woman named Hannah, who discovers she is not passable, but exceptional.
Jesser is an author known for his ability to craft engaging stories. He is a retired schoolteacher, father and grandfather. He lives and gardens near Iroquois with his wife.
Spanning 212 pages, The Passable Cook offers readers a cozy escape into a world where love and laughter abound. Jessers storytelling weaves together the intrigue, humor, and heartwarming moments.
