Bensley Rounds American Legion Unit 280 of Iroquois selected Shelby Pekron to attend Girls State at the University of South Dakota at Vermillion and Dante Glanzer to attend Boys State at Northern State University at Aberdeen. Both will be learning about government and the processes involved in government.
Post 280 of Iroquois will host a breakfast on Sunday, April 21 for Girls and Boys State fee. Breakfast will be at Iroquois American Legion Hall from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
