HURON Beadle County States Attorney Michael Moore the victim in the incident that led to the lockdown of all Huron schools for much of the day has been indentified as 41-year-old Nichole Klich of Huron.
Moore added that a 15-year-old male is in custody, accused of first-degree murder. The suspects name was not released, as the case is at this time being handled in juvenile court.
According to Moore, the suspect is in the Beadle County Detention Centers juvenile area. The case is scheduled for a status hearing on June 4.
