HURON The Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau Ag Committee announced four scholarship awards to area students.
Students receiving awards include:
Connor Johnson
Connor Johnson is the son of Lexie and Raymond Johnson of De Smet. Connor was awarded a $1,000 scholarship. He will graduate from De Smet High School with plans to attend Lake Area Technical College in the fall. Connor plans to major in Agricultural Production.
Presley Binger
Presley Binger is the daughter of Debbie and Greg Binger of Hitchcock. Presley will graduate from Hitchcock-Tulare High School with plans to attend Lake Area Technical College in the fall. Presley plans to major in Livestock Production and Management. She was awarded a $500 scholarship.
Brendan Nowell
Brendan Nowell is the son of Kasey and Josh Nowell of Hitchcock. Brendan will graduate from Hitchcock-Tulare High School with plans to attend South Dakota State University in the fall. He was awarded a $500 scholarship. Brendan plans to major in Agricultural Science.
Holden Hegg
Holden is the son of Jodi and Neal Hegg of Huron. Holden will graduate from Huron High School with plans to attend South Dakota State University in the fall. Holden plans to major in Mechanical Engineering. He was presented a $250 award.
