HURON Huron Safety City will be held June 10-14 at the Washington 4-5 Center.
Class times still available are from noon to 2 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. Cost is $20 per child. You can register on the Huron Safety City Facebook page by using the Sign Up button or email [email protected].
Safety City is open to children ages 4 and 5 (must be 4 by May 27).
During the week children will be taught how to stay safe in many situations, including: pedestrian, bicycle, seatbelt, bus, railroad, stranger/personal, gun, fire, poison, electrical, animal/pet, farm, playground, and water safety.
Lessons are done through presentations, activities, and videos.
Safety City is sponsored by American Legion Post No. 7 of Huron.
