To the Editor:
We recently observed Memorial Day, where we honor the men and women who gave their lives to protect our democracy. I have visited with veterans who now are supporting a man who is advocating destroying our democracy.
This is the same man who got out of defending our country by have a doctor say he had bone spurswhich conveniently went away when he no longer needed them. He has also run down Sen. John McCain and other veterans, saying he thought veterans who were prisoners were suckers and losers for getting caught.
There was a video from Trumps Truth Social Media, which talked about a unified Reich. This is what Hitler promoted in Nazi Germany. Is this what we want in the United States?
Ken Block, who was hired by the Trump campaign to find election fraud in the six states where the count was close, said he found fewer than 200 fraudulent votes cast in all the swing states combined. Block said the Trump campaign chose not to accept the results of his research, and continue to lie to the American people about the election.
The worst thing that Trump has done to the country is he has convinced people, without proof, that our election system is rigged. He says the only way the election will be fairis if he wins.
