IROQUOIS The Iroquois Community Club will be hosting for the first time a Territorial Professional Bull Riders Circuit Bull Bash during the annual Sport Day celebration Friday, July 19, by partnering with stock contractor, Weischedel Bucking Bulls.
Weischedel will provide their equipment, stock, and circuit riders for the event. Riders will climb atop fierce bulls at a chance to ride 8 seconds for over $3,000 in cash prize and points toward the circuit finals. Weischedel will also bring their stock of Junior Bulls to give young riders a chance at prize money as well.
In between rounds, area kids will have an opportunity to participate in the Mutton Bustin competition.
The Iroquois Community Club is excited to bring this new event to the area and look forward to a great time. Attendees can get in on Calcutta at 6 p.m.. by bidding on the riders or the bulls to earn the highest score and win some money.
Admission is adults $12, students $6, with children under 6 years free. Concessions and beer will be available at the event. No coolers will be allowed.
Calcutta begins at 6 p.m. and bull buck at 7 p.m.. The event takes place at Woodall City Park, east of the Iroquois football field.
