HURON Tamme Davis, DO, joined the Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) medical staff and HRMC Physicians Clinic womens health team, earlier this month, according to Erick Larson, president and CEO for HRMC.
Dr. Davis joins us with nearly 30 years experience in caring for women in all stages of life, said Larson. He continued, She joins our other excellent providers caring for the health of women in our community to ensure availability of obstetrical, gynecological and general womens care right here in Huron.
Davis, who specializes in obstetrical and postpartum care, complicated pregnancy, general gynecological care, contraceptive counseling and menopause management, joins Rebekah Storm, DNP, at the HRMC Physicians Clinic and Dr. Nathan Loewen, family medicine with OB physician at New Life Clinic in providing obstetrical and womens care in the community.
She earned her doctor of osteopathy degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisianna. Davis is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Davis recently moved to Huron from Washington State. In her free time, Dr. Davis enjoys traveling, rollercoasters, Disney, and supporting her sons hobbies, including car shows. She is a fan of all sports, and especially enjoys the Olympics and March Madness.
