MILLER Aberdeens Josh Skorczewski started out frong and stayed their to collect the win duirng the WISSOTA late model special on Saturday at Miller Central Speedway.
It was the fifth win of the season and second in a row at MCS for Skorczewski.
Mike Stearns of Aberdeen, who started on the outside of front row, was second, followed by Chase Gelling of Aberdeen, Jayson Good of Watertown and Justin Karlen of Howard.
Gelling won the lone late model heat race.
Stearns earned the win in the 15-lap WISSOTA modified feathre race. Dylan Zabel of Selby was second, followed by Lane Johnson of Miller, James Hanley of Cresbard and Brad Lawrence of Mitchell.
Starsn also inked the heat race win in the modified division.
Despite being unable to finish the heat race, Nathan Grehl of Hitchcock charged from the back of the field to claim the victory in the 10-car WISSOTA super stock main event. It was his third win of the season.
Matt Johnson of Aberdeen, who started eighth, tailed Grehl across the finish line to secure the runner-up finish. Brad Kopecky of Miller was third, followed by Shawn Schnabel of Aberdeen; and Derek Zastrow of Gann Valley.
Earning heat wins for the super stocks were Kopecky and Schipke.
Maria Broksieck of Goodwin secured her eighth win of the seaosn in the WISSOTA street stock main event. She started eighth in the 15-car field and held off Broc Stout of Winner for the victory.
Jodie Michaelsohn of Aberdeen was third, followed by Grady Myers of Winner and Matt Goth of Huron.
Michaelsohn and Stout won the street stock heat races.
Dawson Zabel of Selby collected the win in the WISSOTA Midwest modified feature race. He gained six spots durin the 15-lap race to earn the victory.
Jared Klein of Jamestown, N.D., wheeled his way from the 12th starting spot in the 12-car field to finish second. Scott Hansen of Garden City was third, followed by Jake Wranek of Sioux Falls and Jayme Peterson of Highmore.
Todd Start of Watertown and Wranek won the Midwest modified heat races.
Cody Songer of Wolsey earned the win in the 10-lap Pump-N-Pak pure stock main event. Mike Hammil of Miller, who was the only other driver left of the track, was second.
Rounding out the top five were Wyatt Schweigert of Huron; Mitch Scott of Ft. Pierre and Mackenzie Kopecky of Miller.
Hammill won the pure stock heat race.
Racing returns to Miller Central Speedway on Saturday, with all six classes in action.
