Classes in the Huron School District begin Monday, Aug. 20, for all grades. The school hours for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:
McKinley Learning Center
Classes are 8:15-11 a.m. and 12:30- 3:15 p.m.
Buchanan Kindergarten 1 Center
Madison 2 3 Center
Washington 4 5 Center
Classes begin at 8:15 a.m. and dismiss at 3:10 p.m. for all K-5 students.
Huron Middle School schedule includes Grades 6, 7, and 8.
School begins at 8:05 a.m. and dismisses at 3:25 p.m.
6th grade will enter the building directly into the 6th grade house. All students should report directly to their homeroom upon arriving to the building.
7th grade and 8th grade students enter the building through the main entrance.
6th graders will have the opportunity to eat breakfast following daily announcements at 8:07 a.m.; 7th and 8th grade students may have breakfast from 7:45 to 8:05 a.m.
Huron High School schedule includes Grades 9-12.
Regular classes begin at 8:05 a.m. and end at 3:15 p.m. The commons is open daily to students beginning at 7 a.m.
