HURON As Hurons city-wide clean efforts continue (Tuesday and Wednesday – Aug. 13-14 – drop site is on the carnival mat at the S.D. State Fairgrounds) there is assistance available for those needing help getting items to the dumpgrounds.
Call the citys planning department (605-353-8512) by Aug. 9, to register your location and then Day of Caring volunteers with the United Way-Heartland Region will pick up the items on Aug. 13.
Remember as well that if you submit before-and-after photos of your yard clean up project (to [email protected]) include your name and phone number and you can be entered for a chance to win one of the $100 prizes awarded in Huron Bucks!
