HURON A pair of area teams will be participating in the Class B State Amateur Baseball Tournament, which begins Wednesday at Cadwell Park in Mitchell.
Wessington Springs will play in the opening game of the tournament at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday against Akron, Iowa.
Redfield DQ will face Elk Point in the opening round at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The second round is slated to begin Aug. 12, with the quarterfinals to follow on Aug. 15-16. The semifinals are slated for Aug. 17, with the title game to follow at 2 p.m., on Aug. 18.
