To the Editor:

I think our ex-president has lost what few marbles he had left.

Last week, he was recounting a story to reporters about being involved in a helicopters emergency landing with San Franciscos Mayor Willie Brown.

The Trumpster said, and I quote I know Willie Brown very well. In fact I went down in a helicopter with him. We thought maybe this is the end. We were in a helicopter going to a certain location together, and there was an emergency landing. Trump goes on to say, and Im still quoting This was not a pleasant landing, and Willie was, he was a little concerned. So I know him, I know him pretty well.

When reporters called Willie Brown, He said that Trump was obviously wrong. Willie Browns quote Ive never been in a helicopter with him in my life.

Reporters thought that the Trumpster had gotten confused, and was perhaps speaking of former California Gov. Jerry Brown who had been in a helicopter with Trump, and Gov. Gavin Newsom as well. A spokesperson for Jerry Brown stated there was no emergency landing. Gavin Newsom said I was on a helicopter with Jerry Brown and Trump, and it didnt go down, but he repeatedly brought up the possibility of crashing.

Two things bother me about this event.

First, why would you tell an untrue story unless you just cant tell the truth? You just have to lie. Second, if you know someone very well, how do you get them so confused with someone totally different unless you cant think correctly anymore?

This has happened before, earlier this year when he got Nancy Pelosi and Nikki Haley mixed up seven times in one speech.

Remember, Trump is only three years younger than that Old Man Joe Biden.
