Charlie Flowers mentioned me with Fact: Trump did call John McCain, and other veterans, suckers and losers for getting caught. This was at a rally in 2015. I suggest Kevin Schultz go back and check the rally where it was said.
Mr. Flowers, Im very capable of doing research, but thanks for the suggestion anyway. Instead, I compiled a list of Facts.
Trumps supportfor the U.S. military, both active and veteran members has been part of his speeches and presidential campaigns. That is who Donald Trump is.
The duties of Chief of Staff are exceptionally arduous. It was evident that John Kelly was not up to the task. Kelly was becoming resentful in his position.
The remarks in question were on November 12, 2018, where Trump was to give a prepared speech honoring the fallen heroes at the Aisne-Marne Cemetery near Paris.Trump held a Senior Staff meeting with others, 16 total on Air Force One parked on the tarmac at Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport. Severe weather prevented Trump from going the 60 miles to the cemetery. But instead, John Kelly made his bogus claim that Trump refused to go because it was filled with cowards, losers suckers.
Kellys claim makes no sense in lieu that Trump had his prepared speech honoring the fallen heroes at the cemetery.
It is customary for the Staff to take notes of Staff Meetings. Of all present, no Staff notes, audio or video recordings or any documentation any kind of cowards, losers and suckers exist.
Kelly could not produce any evidence because none exists. All present called Kellys claim patently false or never happened. All this mayhem because of one former Chief of Staffs deficiency was exposed.
Real facts are an inconvenience for some.
