The Huron Volunteer Fire Department and the Huron Police Department played the Battle of the Badges softball game Aug. 11, and donated the proceeds to Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
This donation will help SHP with its next builds, planned on Saturday, Sept. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 5. Both start at 9 a.m. and will take place at the Greater Huron Spec building at 191 Union Ave NW.
