Building back what was torn apart

The first of many truckloads of permanent concrete for the Dakota Avenue re-construction project was poured Thursday morning, on the east side, north of Third Street.

Both driving lanes are being poured from 3rd to Market, before sidewalk work begins on both sides of the street. When completed, wider driving lanes, parking area and a dedicated turning lane will emerge.
