HURON James Valley Christian recorded its second consecutive shutout with a 5-0 victory against Custer on Saturday at JVC Field.
Gavin Waldner had the first two goals for the Vikings, with one of those being assisted by Keeghann Hood.
JVC would manage a 3-0 lead at the half, as Carson Dorris found the net on a header during a corner kick from Noah Fast.
Hood put the Vikings ahead 4-0 early in the second half with an unassisted goal.
Capping the scoring for JVC was Fast, who scored on a pass from Natallia Hood late in the game.
Jonah Niederbaumer recorded the shutout in the net for the Vikings.
JVC, which improved to 7-3, will travel to play West Central on Tuesday.
