Hope Lutheran Church recently held a Pie Auction fundraiser for Sleep In Heavenly Peace, raising $2,500 for the organization. The church holds a pie auction annually, donating proceeds to various local groups.
Kurt Dixon, Council President of Hope Lutheran Church, is shown presenting a check to Barbara Lorenz, President of SHP. Since SHP was brought to Huron, Hope Lutheran has been a major supporter. One way is by giving them space to store beds and bedding.
SHP is looking for volunteers for its upcoming bed build on Oct. 5, and for bed deliveries. To learn how you can volunteer for either of these events please email [email protected].
