BROOKINGS The Huron cheer team finished 16th during the Brookings Invitational on Saturday.
The Tigers had 192 points with no deductions.
Harrisburg amassed 284.5 points to win the 22-team cheer competition.
Sioux Falls Jefferson was second at 275.5, followed by Rapid City Stevens at 251.
Rounding out the top five were OGorman at 247.5 and Watertown at 246.5.
Brandon Valley won the dance portion of the event with 285.5 points, while Dakota Valley was second in the 17-team field with 281.75.
Harrisburg was third at 272.25, followed by Sioux Falls Jefferson at 270.50 and Yankton at 267.50.
The Huron dance team had a score of 212.50 to finish 17th.
Huron will travel to participate in the Brandon Valley Invitational today at 5 p.m..
