HARTFORD – The James Valley Christian Vikings, ranked second in this weeks poll, secured their eighth straight win on Tuesday on the road against the West Central Trojans.
Gavin Waldner dished out assists to Jonah Miller and Cole Anderson for the first two goals of the game as the Vikings took a 2-0 lead at half.
Waldner scored a goal of his own in the second half.
Jonah Niederbaumer had five saves in goal for the Vikings, now 8-3.
The Vikings took a 4-0 win in the junior varsity game.
Gian Estrada scored twice, while Kasen Ober and Skylar Thielbar each added a goal.
Jayven VanScharrell and Keeghann Hood shared time between the posts in goal for the JV team.
JVC will host Groton Thursday.
