Knights slip past Huron

SIOUX FALLS The OGorman Knights got a goal on a penalty kick in the early stages of the match and made it hold up Tuesday night, as the Knights took a 2-0 win from the Huron Tigers at OGorman Field.

We got an unlucky break early with a call on a corner kick that gave OG the penalty kick, said Leah Branaugh, Huron head coach. The boys never stopped fighting and did a good job of denying OGorman another goal until later in the game. We had our chances to score, but werent able to convert.

Huron goal keeper Micah Larson had six saves in the match.

The Knights took the JV match 4-1, with Hei Moo Soe scoring Hurons lone goal. Jaxon Andru had six saves in net for the Tigers, who travel to Watertown on Thursday.
