SIOUX FALLS Hitchcock-Tulare, which is ranked No. 4 in Class B, went 5-0 to win the championship in the White Division at the Sanford Pentagon Tournament on Saturday.
The Lady Patriots, who improved to 19-0, won pool play matches against Hanson, Freeman and Mt. Vernon/Plankinton.
Hitchcock-Tulare defeated Hanson with set scores of 25-16 and 25-11; got past Freeman with set scores of 25-3 and 25-11; and had set wins of 25-18 and 25-11 against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton.
In the semifinals, the Lady Patriots recorded set wins of 25-12 and 25-22 against Ethan.
Hitchcock-Tulare used set scores of 25-22 and 25-11 to win the championship against Winner.
The Lady Patriots will travel to play Sunshine Bible Academy on Tuesday.

Aberdeen Christian defeats Lady Vikings
ABERDEEN The Aberdeen Christian Knights swept past the James Valley Christian Lady Vikings Saturday in volleyball in Aberdeen.
Set scores for the Knights were 25-16, 25-8, and 25-12.
The Knights move to 11-7 behind 11 kills from Jolie Fogarty. Arianna Johnson had four aces and seven kills.
Sawyer Schwan set up the Aberdeen Christian offense with 30 assists while Alexis Isakson paced the defense with 20 digs.
JVC falls to 0-8. Addison Kleinsasser led the Lady Vikings with three kills on 14 of 16 hitting. Kaitlyn Stahl had 21 digs.
The Lady Vikings will travel to Sanborn Central on Thursday.
