BROOKINGS Brookings recorded a 35-8 victory against the Huron eighth-grade football team on Tuesday.
Josh Gilbert had the lone touchdown for the Tigers on a 17-yard run. He connected with Alex Mattke for the conversion.
Gilbert finished with 11 carries for 47 yards on the ground, while Carter Porisch had six catches for 88 yards.
Porisch led Huron defensively, with nine tackles. Gilbert had six tackles and Noah Hofer had four tackles.
The Tigers (2-2) will host Yankton Tuesday.
