Street Corner Symphony to perform Wednesday

Do you want to listen to a fabulous five voice male a cappella ensemble? Get ready for the first concert of the season with Huron Area Concert Association as they present Street Corner Symphony on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at James Valley Christian School at 7:30 p.m.

Street Corner Symphony consists of a lead singer, two tenors, a bass and a beat boxer based out of Nashville. They were a runner-up on NBCs Sing Off in 2010. They have toured for Allied Concert Services in the 2011-12 season and earned great reviews.

They move seamlessly between various styles of music and their repertoire covers a wide range, from gospel to rock and pop, appealing to the young and old alike.

Since their success on The Sing-Off, Street Corner Symphony has made their mark on the music world, recording albums, providing clinics for schools, giving benefits for cancer, performing across the country and around the world, and even working with major artists including Ben Folds, Alison Krauss, and Take 6s Claude McKnight.

If you dont have a season ticket, you can buy one that night or just an individual ticket at the door for $25. Season tickets are $60, family memberships are $130 and student (high school and college) memberships are $15. Remember, for those people who bought their season tickets last year during the month of May, the drawing for a cash prize will be held prior to the concert on Oct. 9!
