To the Editor:
Hi, my name is Mason Hunter; I am a member of the Prairie Wranglers 4-H Club. I have been in 4-H for eight years, and I am also part of the Beadle County 4-H Council. I wanted to let everyone know about all the great things that you can do when you are a part of 4-H and to celebrate National 4-H week, Oct. 7-12, this month.
I enjoy working with my horses and rodeoing during the summer. There is a lot you can do when you are a member of 4-H. Our 4-H club participates in several community service projects that helps our town. Our 4-H club meets once a month for meetings and we get to do fun activities and projects together. We have a lot of fun during our meetings, and I have made several new friends.
As 4-H members you can participate in summer camps, livestock shows, rodeos, horse shows and make projects for Achievement Days. There is always something fun to do when you are involved in 4-H, and I have learned so much from everyone in our club.
I think 4-H is great and hope that you join 4-H too!
