WEBSTER Kamryn Nesheim won the girls varsity race in 20:29.28 to help Clark/Willow Lake to the girls title at the Northeast Conference Cross Country Meet, which was held Thursday at the Webster Golf Course.
The Cyclones finished with 23 points to claim the title, while Milbank was second at 32. Deuel was third at 47, followed by Aberdeen Roncalli at 68, Redfield at 79 and Sisseton at 96.
Also finishing in the top 10 for Clark/Willow Lake were Faith Roehrich, who was fourth at 21:06.85 and Jennifer Bevers, who was sixth at 21:35.23.
Emma Bochek and Cadence Bochek were No. 14 and 15, respectively, for the Cyclones at 22:37.97 and 22:40.41.
Aly Gruenwald led Redfield with a time of 23:12.06 to finish 17th.
Deuel won the NEC boys title with 19 points, while Milbank was second at 23 and Clark/Willow Lake was third at 69.
Bryan Meyer of Milbank claimed the NEC boys title with an 18:07.00, while Tyson Hagberg of Deuel was second at 18:21.51.
Will Hovde just missed a top-10 finish with a time of 20:38.95. Ayden Peterson was 16th for the Cyclones at 21:24.98, while Alex Reil was 18th at 21:33.74.
Payton Moore led Redfeld with a time of 22:39.23 to finish 25th.
