ABERDEEN The Huron eighth-grade football team closed its season with a 14-8 victory against Aberdeen Central on Tuesday.
Carter Porisch scored on a 3-yard run for the Tigers and Josh Gilbert connected with Angel Sierra Rodriguez on a 6-yard touchdown pass.
Rounding out the scoring was a safety recorded by Zevyn Tipton.
Gilbert was the leading rushing for the Tigers with 83 yard son 11 carries. Noah Hofer had 94 yards receiving and Porisch had 63 yards receiving.
Defensively, Crosby Hartman had six tackles and a sack for Huron, while Max Roberts had five tackles and a sack. Porisch and Rodriguez each recorded five tackles, while Tipton had three tackles and a sack and Malcom Williams had three tackles.
The Tigers finished the season at 3-3.
