To the Editor:
When around children for any lengthof time you find they are like sponges, absorbing all that goes on around them. Have you considered how the abortion issue is affecting our children?
What are they learning as they watch adults demanding the right to kill unborn children who are an inconvenience, or who were conceived under unpleasant circumstances?
When we judge another dispensable based on our perception of their value, what are we teaching about the value of life?
It is no wonder that bullying, school shootings and suicides are rampant. And when infirmity or age takes its toll on us, we shouldnt be shocked or surprised when the powers that be choose to end our lives. Thats what they learned from us.
