Second half taxes due next week

HURON Beadle County Treasurer Jacque McCaskell reminds property owners that payment of the second half property taxes is due next week.

Payments – by Oct. 31 – may be made in person at the Treasurers office in the Beadle County Courthouse, left in the dropbox on the south side of the courthouse, or the one inside the courthouse, or may be mailed to the Treasurerss office, at 450 3rd Street, SW, in Huron.

Mailed payments must be postmarked by Oct. 31 to not be delinquent.

Taxes not paid by Oct. 31 will begin to accrue interest.
