HURON Hurons eighth-grade girls basketball team opened the season with a sweep against Aberdeen on Monday.
The Tigers won the A-game 26-21.
Jayla Schley led Huron with 17 points, while Ramsey Rozell added seven points and Tally Hins had two points.
Huron escaped with a 13-12 win in the B-game.
Laney Marshall led the Tigers with five points, while Hins had four points. Maddy Metzger and Carli Winegar each had two points.
Huron travels to play Mitchell today.
