YANKTON Hurons eighth-grade girls basketball team split a pair of games against Yankton on Monday.
Yankton escaped with a 31-29 win in the A-game.
Jayla Schley led the Tigers with 16 points, while Ramsey Rozell had 13 points.
Huron claimed a 21-15 victory in the B-game.
Maddy Metzger had eight points to lead the Tigers. Laney Marshall had sixt points, while Jesse Mattke had five points.
Seventh grade
Yankton swept the Huron seventh-grade team in a pair of games Monday.
The Gazelles won the A-game 35-17.
Lylli Hofer had all 17 points for the Tigers.
In the B-game, Yankton inked a 25-8 win.
Adalyn Cunard, Amari Green, Taelyn Larson and Adriana Glanzer each had two points for Huron.
