WESSINGTON Mark your calendars for Saturday, Dec. 14, as Wessington gears up for its Christmas Parade of Lights, beginning at 6 p.m. This years theme is Santas List.
The parade will kick off at the south end of Wessington Street and go north through the heart of the business district. After the initial procession, the parade will make a second pass, featuring dazzling fireworks.
Arrive early to enjoy a chili feed starting at 3:30 p.m., and families can also look forward to a special visit from Santa at the Community Center, where children can meet Santa and have their photos taken. Additionally, kids can engage in fun activities hosted by Buzzn, running from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
