CLARK The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones won the team title in the Clark/Willow Lake Wrestling Booster Club invitational, held Saturday in Clark.
The Cyclones scored 160.5 team points to defeat Kingsbury County, with 153 points. Groton Area placed third with 143.5 points and Webster Area scored 100 team points to finish fourth.
Winning for the Cyclones were Benny Pommer at 106, Cade Gaikowski at 113, Cooper Pommer at 126, Elliot Bratland at 165, and Josh Kannegieter at 190.
Maverick Clausen (106) and Kaden Wookey (120) finished third for Clark/Willow Lake.
Winning titles for Kingsbury County were Rogan Albrecht at 132 and Gannon Gilligan at 138. Lane Albrecht finished second at 132 as did Cody Zell at 138, Greyson Nielson at 150, Blake Jennings at 157, Kaleb Johnson at 165, Marshall Holz at 190, and Breyten Johnson at 215. Cutler Davis finished third at 138.
The Cyclones travel Tuesday to Redfield for a triangular and Kingsbury County is next in action against Watertown at De Smet.
