WATERTOWN The Huron Tigers middle school girls basketball team traveled to Watertown on Thursday, dropping three of four contests.
Eighth Grade
The A team picked up Hurons lone win of the night, a 38-27 victory. Jayla Schley led the scoring with 18 points and was joined in double figures by Ramsey Rozell with 13.
Arian Pfitzer pitched in six points and Talley Huns added one point.
The B squad fought hard but ultimately lost 30-27 in overtime to the Arrows. Maddy Metzger (13 points) and Laney Marshall (10 points) went over double figures. Jesse Mattke and Melinda Morales-Chilel each added two points.
Seventh Grade
Watertown swept both seventh-grade games, winning the A game 45-23 and nearly matching that deficit in the B game, a 33-13 Arrow win.
The Tigers will close their regular season at home Monday against Mitchell.
