FAULKTON With the help 11 place-winners, including a pair of individual champions, Clark/Willow Lake finished second at the Faulkton Invitational on Saturday.
The Cylcones finished with 179.5 points, which put them second behind only Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes (202.5) in the 16-team event. Sisseton was third at 175.5, followed by Oakes (N.D.) at 138.5 and Milbank at 123.
Sunshine Bible Academy was 12th at 30.
Winning championships for Clark/Willow Lake were Cooper Pommer at 126 pounds and Josh Kannegieter at 190. Benny Pommer at 106 and Elliot Bratland at 165 were second.
Kaden Wookey at 120 was third for the Cyclones, while Maverick Clausen at 106 was fourth. Mason Severson and 132, Isaac Johnson at 128 and Austin Vig at 157 were fifth, while Logan Foster at 144 was sixth.
Jimmy Burma won an individual title for SBA at 215.
