Pheasants, Bandits make run at title in Gregory

GREGORY Redfield and Miller/Highmore-Harrold finished second and third, respectively, at the Burke/Gregory Tournament on Saturday.

Bon Homme/Avon won the event with 192.5 points, while Redfield was second at 169.5 and Miller/Highmore-Harrold was third at 151.

Rounding out the top five in the 13-team tournament was Stanley County at 69 and Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington at 68.

Winning individual title for Redfield were Maddon Odland at 113 pounds, Collin Dean at 165 and Camden Murray at 215.

Jace Edgar at 106, Chace Odland at 120, Conner Zens at 144 and Dylan Murray at 190 were second for the Pheasants. Dalton Rathen was third at 285 and Kasey Hermann was fourth at 132.

Winning championships for Miller/Highmore-Harrold were Jaymin VanDerWerff at 120, Talon Ping at 126, Jordan Schafer at 138, Kellan Hurd at 144 and Colby Kolda at 175.

Chase Hurd at 132 and Sam Crago at 138 were second for the Bandits, while JD Chavez was third at 126.

Jacksen Carter won a championship for Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington at 132. Will Grohs was second at 150 and Carson Finn was fourth at 157.
