HURON Mitchell recorded a sweep against the Huron eighth-grade girls basketball teams on Monday.
The Kernels pulled out a 33-30 win in the A-game.
Jayla Schley had 17 points to lead the Tigers, while Ramsey Rozell added eight points.
Mitchell won the B-game 28-15.
Laney Marshall had five points for Huron, while Jesse Mattke and Maddy Metzger added four and three points, respectively.
Seventh grade
Mitchell swept the Huron seventh graders in a pair of games Monday.
The Kernels cruised to a 60-22 victory in the A-game.
Lylli Hofer had 20 points for the Tigers.
Mitchell won the B-game 46-4.
Amari Greene had three points for Huron.
